515 Shatto

Los Angeles, CA

The design for Shatto Place takes cue from the existing architectural composition of the 2-story 1960’s building and updates the facade with a contemporary and activated aesthetic. The proposed improvements to the facade include back-lit custom perforated metal panels with an artistic graphic, a new storefront system along the street level, and skylights over the second story office spaces.

The integration of vibrant colored cladding and addition of new glazing at both levels promotes a fresh building identity and modern office experience, as well as an improvement to the pedestrian experience and revival of streetscape and neighborhood.
