Title

Linda Flora

Bel Air, California

This 15,000 square foot Bel Air residence was designed for a hillside site that faces westward toward the Getty Center. The home includes five bedrooms, two suites and expansive living and entertaining spaces.

The architecture features a modern building form of articulated volumes and v-shaped roofs enveloped in a simple, elegant material palette. The V shaped roofs provide the desired angle for mounting photovoltaic panels, while increasing the grandeur of the north and south facades, and allow for natural light to flow into the interior spaces of the home.
