GOALS Soccer Centers partnered with City Football Club and to celebrate this corporate joint venture the Goals California pavilion underwent an architectural evolution through a process of design charrettes and reinterpretations of project priorities with input from both companies. The new design preserves the dynamic asymmetrical features and elegance of the original Balian prototype pavilion design, and adds interest dimensionally through the protrusion of the faceted plaster façade. The main entry splits the sculptural façade and the branding color is incorporated in a tailored fashion around the seams and edges of nthe architectural form. Though still compact and efficient, the redesign of the Pavilion continues to exude grandeur and bold presence.
