The proposed hotel design is an elegant marriage of period era and contemporary architectural expressions. The existing portion of the proposed design is a renewed and modernized period era interpretation that showcases the original character of the existing structure while the new portion takes cue from the original utilitarian factory building by brazenly expressing the robust modern exoskeletal structure as the premiere design statement.

Utilizing the forefront in building construction technologies, the architecture endeavors to pay homage to the integrity of the original architectural expression. In stark contrast to the rigid and orderly portions of the existing structure below, the organic silhouettes in the new upper levels project a lightness and elegance and become the defining feature of the proposed iconic community landmark.
